Blickling Ward at Julian Hospital is a unit for adult mental health patients undergoing a major refurbishment to provide comfortable, secure and welcoming facilities for staff and patients. The installation needed to be approached with patient sensitivity and completed with minimum disruption, often overnight.
To ensure the most suitable design, staff were consulted and given the opportunity to select shades and colours that would be most appropriate for the unit. The previous product, a latex screed, had failed so we needed a floor that we knew would be robust, durable, and be fit for purpose – so we chose Altro.
