Material Source is a destination for interior designers, architects and specifiers helping them explore a wealth of materials, products, and finishes. The Material Source Studios have one simple aim: to be both inspirational and useful; informing and celebrating the importance of materials and products. A sustainable collaboration was required for the installation of new bathroom facilities at the Material Source Studio in Glasgow.
In response to the brief from Material Source Co-founder and Creative Director, Darren Clanford, the bathroom needed to have a deep, dappled palette of burnt orange and grey, while providing functionality and tying in with the innovative, sustainable, washroom products from Woodio® and Concept Cubicle Systems.
Altro Whiterock wall designs in Antique Copper was specified for the ‘burnt orange’ colour scheme in one washroom, supported by Altro Illustra in colour Sand Castle.
For the other washroom, which featured a ‘taupe’ colour scheme, Altro Whiterock wall designs in colour Cool Mineral was specified together with Altro Illustra in colour Clay Bed.
In the accessible washroom, Altro Whiterock wall designs in White Mineral and Altro Illustra in colour Bedrock were specified.
For the outer hallway, Altro Illustra in Gentle Twist was specified.
