At the Commercial Kitchens exhibition in September, Altro were delighted to be awarded a Gold Innovation Challenge Award for Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free safety flooring.
The Innovation Challenge Award showcases all the exciting new launches from participating exhibitors, and products are shortlisted by visitors attending the exhibition.
After being shortlisted as one of the most innovative products, the Altro team presented a product pitch to judges including leading chefs, buyers, and innovation experts from across the foodservice and hospitality sector.
Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free was entered as it is designed exclusively for commercial kitchens. It can be welded and walked on the same day, significantly reducing kitchen downtime. Along with incredible hygiene and safety credentials including being HACCP-approved, over 95% of the floor can be recycled or re-used after use, providing a carbon-saving safety floor.
Feedback from the judges included “we love the clean design, durability, and sustainability of the product. It’s a fantastic and unique offering.”
