Be it flooring offcuts, empty adhesive tubs or worn out cutting blades, reducing waste from your installation process contributes to the sustainability of our industry as a whole. Prevention is at the top of the waste hierarchy, and we are proud to work with our customers to prevent as much waste as possible from going to landfill.
No matter how meticulous you are with your planning, waste factor can be unpredictable. Take the risk of waste due to improper cuts away with our pre-cut flooring service by having your flooring delivered pre-cut to your specification. Your order will be delivered in handy, jigsaw-style pieces ready to trim to fit if needed and stick down.
We plan scrupulously to make sure as little flooring as possible is wasted in creating our pre-cut floors, and any offcuts are reclaimed into our in-house recycling scheme.
On a single bus flooring installation, two 6L tubs of adhesive are needed at minimum to adhere the whole area. Across a whole fleet, the waste plastic is starting to pile up! Our self-adhesive service eliminates the need for adhesive packaging by negating the need for extra adhesive: the adhesive is pre-applied in a consistent backing so all that remains to do is peel off the release liner and stick the flooring down.
Our self-adhesive service also eradicates harmful VOC-emissions from the installation area.
