Ashleworth Hub is the heart of the local community and houses a post office, café, and deli, and has an attached holiday cottage, Kozicot. Being the focal point for the village and with a high customer footfall, Ashleworth Hubs old living areas were being converted into extended commercial spaces for the café and deli, and the public areas upgraded after a complete refurbishment. Kozicot was also redesigned to provide a comfortable, homely, and dog-friendly place to stay for guests.
Local business and installers of hygienic floors and walls, Hycom, were regular visitors to Ashleworth Hub, often popping in for breakfast or lunch. Upon hearing of the refurbishment, Gavin Flynn, Hycom’s Managing Director, recommended Altro products for the different areas, “I can visit a project and be able to offer all the right products, for the right areas, within the Altro range of floors and walls.”

Altro Wood was specified for The Hub café, deli, dining area and entrance in a rustic design, bringing safety and keeping the character of the historic building intact.
