When a large amount of moisture damage was discovered at the popular cold bathing house in Ribersborg in January 2018 it was necessary to solve the problem immediately. With damage to the wood subfloor, there was a lot to consider before commencing the project. It is an historic building is on the water, making the building move.
In order to meet the high standards of safety, functionality, hygiene, aesthetics and lasting durability, the project architect chose Altro Aquarius safety floor. Altro Aquarius was installed by Lundströms Golv AB.
Thanks to Altro Aquarius, Ribersborgs Kallbadhus has a solution that is slip-resistant and easy to clean. Many visitors to Ribersborgs Kallbadhus are older and it is very important they feel safe. Altro Aquarius reduces the chance of a slip to one in the million for the lifetime of the floor.

Altro Aquarius is a very good floor that we install in areas with high risk of slipping. It works in both dry and wet areas and is extremely durable and easy to clean.
Guests are very positive about the improvements. Of course, the aesthetics themselves are also important and we are happy to be able to choose good colours.
