At: Ashworth Hospital, Merseyside
Main Contractor CPUK chose Altro Whiterock Premier Installer MI Contracts to undertake a challenging installation at Ashworth high security psychiatric hospital. MI Contracts installed Altro Whiterock in corridors and kitchen areas as part of a ward refurbishment. Although the ward itself was shut down for the duration of the work, contractors were subject to security checks and couldn't easily move about the site. The work needed to be completed to an extremely high standard – the finished installation would be subject to robust wear and tear and repairs could not be easily completed. MI Contracts more than met that challenge, much to the delight of CPUK.
